Value, by definition, is the importance, worth, or usefulness of something. VAST team members hold great pride in bringing value to our clients. Value is what we do at VAST, essentially it’s a big part of who we are.
You may ask, how does VAST bring value to our clients? And, what does “value” mean to VAST? Let me give you some examples.
- Over the past year we worked with a client and several carriers to develop a safer system for their sprinklers in the case of a fire. Previously, the sprinklers weren’t capable to extinguish a fire completely by the way our client had their products arranged in their warehouse. After working with several loss prevention specialists, we developed a new layout for the client’s products. The client, who was very interested in protecting their assets, put the new layout into place, which resulted in more than just additional safety. It also created a cleaner look to the warehouse, and it helped with their inventory and efficiency processes. One of our partner carriers stated that safety doesn’t have boundaries, and helping keep a client’s people and facility safe is the right thing to do! Developing this for our client brought tremendous value to them, which is impossible to quantify.
- VAST team members are constantly looking for ways to add value in coverage for our clients. Recently, one of our long term clients of 15 years added two new coverages to their account to increase their protection: pollution and cyber. After discussing the needs of the business with the client and the advantages of having these coverages, we researched potential carriers. We wanted to find the carrier who would best fit our client’s needs, desired coverages, limits, and prices. In doing so, we were able to put in place the pollution and cyber policies, which increased the value that VAST brings to the table for the client’s protection.
- VAST team members also focus on clients’ needs in the event of a claim . We will personally help a client in any way possible, and we work with the carriers to file the claim in a timely manner. We then follow up with the adjusters on the progress of the claim. We had a client experience a fire claim, and once notified, we were on our way to the location to offer our help and to get the claim moving in the right direction as soon as possible. The value of going to the location, getting hands-on immediately with the claim, and offering any support needed at the time saves our clients money and puts their minds at ease that we will take care of their needs.
There are endless ways VAST strives to bring value to our clients. Our goal is to go above and beyond in creating and maintaining the importance, worth, and usefulness of our relationships with our clients. In essence: value.
